As you are aware, Jebel Ali berthing delays have further aggravated followed with low productivity/slow operations. Craine Drivers Strike in France - 17 June 2008  

 

Marseille/fos is completely stopped since last Monday until further notice and partly congested since 2/3 weeks now. Le Havre is also facing problems with 2/3 days off per week. All main shipping line are implementing congestion surcharges between 150 usd and 250 usd per teus. Read More...

 

 
Strikes in French port (Le Havre and Marseille) - 4 May 2008  

 

Please keep in mind that we will be facing big troubles in France because of permanent French port crane drivers’ strikes. In theses circumstances the worse place to discharge and ship out container will be Marseille /fos.
